Originally from Michigan, at an early age Katie found she had strong passion for animals. Although her career path didn't originally take her to veterinary medicine she found a way to bridge her love for animal care and working with people.  With more than 20 years working in veterinary medicine, Katie couldn't be happier! In her free time, Katie enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking.  She shares her home with 3 amazing children, a supportive husband, 3 dogs, a cat, a bearded dragon and a Russian Tortoise.  Its a full house!
