Parks Weatherford grew up in Winter Park, FL, and graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in zoology and minors in history and business administration. He continued his studies in Gainesville and obtained his DVM at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. While at UF he was a captain of the club ultimate frisbee team and worked with other veterinarians to serve the Navajo nation on short-term veterinary mission trips. His special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, feline medicine, and emergency medicine. He moved back to Winter Park to be near his wife and his family. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, being active in his church, reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their cat, Daisy.
